Matthew Phillips
Chief Executive Officer
Matt Phillips assumed the role of CEO of Community One in October 2010. Matt is a real estate professional with over twenty years of construction, development and property management experience. Matt graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Construction Management and obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Matt served on his community’s board of directors for four years and was president for three. He has a clear understanding of the challenges of serving on an association board. He holds a Georgia Real Estate Broker’s License and is active in many professional organizations including the Urban Land Institute, the US Green Building Council and Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association.

Peter Coblentz
Vice President of Accounting and Operations
Peter is a native of Buffalo, NY, and holds a BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University. He is a Certified Public Accountant with numerous years in public accounting and as a Controller for several commercial and multi-family real estate management and development companies in the Atlanta area. Peter is responsible for our client accounting and manages an excellent team of professionals in our accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financials reports are provided.

Cary Northquest
Vice President of Management Services
Cary Northquest oversees our in-town high rise and mid-rise condominium communities. She has been with Community One Associates since 2006 and has been instrumental in the growth and success of Community One. Cary has a degree in Speech Communications from the University of Georgia. Cary also served on her community’s board of directors and has a great understanding of the needs of our clients. She is active in many professional organizations including the Community Association Institute.

Mike Espriella
Senior Vice President
Mike uses over 25 years of management experience to help lead the property management team. He is a seasoned expert at understanding the complexities of reserve studies, building systems, mechanical equipment and life safety procedures Mr. Espriella heralds from the Miami, FL area where he was Senior Vice President of The Continental Group, the country’s largest property management company, overseeing the daily operations, budgets and staffing for 130 properties representing 26,000 residential units. Among his many accomplishments are maintaining account retention of 97% and achieving the highest employee retention rate with The Continental Group.

Heather Martin
Vice President of Portfolio Management
Heather Martin joined Community One in fall of 2008 as a portfolio manager. She consistently shows her leadership qualities, as well as knowledge of the industry and was promoted to Vice President of Portfolio Management in the fall of 2010. Heather has 15 years experience in the property management industry. She ran her own property management company for four of those years. Heather is a business professional and graduated from Reinhardt College with a BA in Human Resource Management and a Minor in Business Finance. She holds a Georgia Real Estate Community Association License. Heather is active in Community Association Institute (CAI). and currently holds a CMCA and AMS accreditation. She also has obtained her ARM accreditation from Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
