Steve Weibel is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Community One Associates, and has a long history in the property management business.

Leaving the health care industry in 1983 and careers with Johnson & Johnson Healthcare and Baxter Travenol, Weibel entered the community association management business in 1984 when he founded Pacific Property Management in San Francisco, CA. He sold Pacific Property Management to his partner in 1989 and started Common Interest Management Services in 1990 and sold it in 2001, moving to Alpharetta, GA to be closer to family and his roots in the southeast. The community association business grew exponentially in California in the 80’s and 90’s and honed Weibel’s management, financial, maintenance, construction, reserve study and consulting skills. Knowledgeable in construction management, funding capital projects, lake and seaside properties and general consulting, Weibel is one of the most comprehensively educated managers in the United States.

Bruce Grant is our Chief Financial Officer. Bruce is a Georgia native, holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Emory University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Bruce joined our team in 2007 and manages an excellent team of professionals in our accounting department who work with him to produce our client financials.

For those clients who have exceptional needs, complicated budgets or cash flow issues, Bruce creates customized Excel reports to help our forward thinking boards better understand the financial demands and cash flow needs of their communities. If you have a problem we can likely craft a clear, easily understandable report for you.

Cary Northquest leads our professional Management Team. She is responsible for the quality measures that lead directly to the outcomes our Boards define. When that clarity isn’t forthcoming she is responsible to create it. Once created, she is responsible to implement it through our team of experienced, energetic Managers.

Cary hails from the service sector, where she was the Banquet Manager at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Buckhead. She continues to provide concierge level thinking to the services we provide to our customers. Cary holds a degree in Speech Communications from the University of Georgia, lives in Atlanta, and is very visible among our clients. Accessible, personable and accomplished, she’s a great resource for our Boards of Directors and Managers alike.

Lisa SimmonsVice President of Sales and MarketingLisa is a high performance Business Development professional with a record of accomplishments penetrating and building new markets, driving sales growth and enhancing the Community One customer experience in Georgia. Prior to joining the company, she was a top producing sales manager for Beazer Homes (NYSE: BZH) where she sold in excess of $35 million of new homes throughout metro Atlanta for which earned recognition by CEO, Ian McCarthy. She appeared with McCarthy and other Beazer employees on the hit ABC television series, “Extreme Home Makeover”. Lisa was also the Director of Corporate Communications for Cousins Properties (NYSE: CUZ), a $1 billion publicly traded REIT. She oversaw marketing for many of Atlanta’s most notable projects including: Bank of America Plaza, Concourse Office Park, Wildwood Office Park, The Pinnacle, Ten Peachtree Place, One Georgia Center, The Avenue East Cobb, The Avenue Peachtree City, Meridian Mark Plaza, and Northside Medical Office Complex.
